Gary and the team from Maximum Adventure run some of the more challenging and fun adventure races across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. From full 24hr Adventure Race formats through to urban style races, short course AR sprints (6hr), and even MTB enduro and multisport events.

We are proud to promote and associate with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. We had the unfortunate circumstances on New Years Day 2006 to require their services on the NSW North Coast when Kim was injured quite seriously in a MTB accident. The team from Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service flew her from the accident to John Hunter Hospital on one of the hottest days experienced with bushfires surrounding the hospital.

They are a great organisation and have a close association with riding throughout NSW. Every registration fee includes a donation to this worthwhile service. Some of their key sponsored events are Pedal Fest at Dungog and the Mountain Bike Ride - 8 day event. The Mountain Bike Ride is one of the Service’s main events & fundraisers for the helicopter service. Over the past 4 years they have raised over $185,000 and hope to continue this fantastic effort.
